The Southern California Conference Literature Ministries Department focuses on sharing the good news through literature.

GLOW (Giving Light to Our World) is more than a concept and a mindset. It’s more than just a tract or a book! It’s the habit and lifestyle of carrying literature wherever we go; praying for divine appointments, sharing and sowing “seeds.” It is giving light to this dark world in our everyday life:

“If there is one work more important than another, it is that of getting our publications before the public, thus leading them to search the Scriptures… When church members realize the importance of the circulation of our literature, they will devote more time to this work. Papers, tracts, and books will be placed in the homes of the people, to preach the gospel in their several lines…The church must give her attention to the canvassing work. This is one way in which she is to shine in the world.”Colporteur Ministry, pg. 7.

We believe in planting “seeds” of truth everywhere we go. We hold on to the words of Ecclesiastes 11:6 which says, “In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening do not withhold your hand; for you do not know which will prosper, either this or that, or whether both alike will be good.” We want to share truth-filled tracts everywhere. Every member can play a part in sharing with their friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, and strangers!

Our team is also available to visit your church and share inspiring stories of how God is using literature in powerful ways. We are willing to preach, train, lead outreach or all of the above at your locality. For more information or to schedule a GLOW kick-off Sabbath, please contact 818-546-8435.
