GLOW IAE 2020 is a mission trip specifically for students in our local Southern California Conference academies, grades 9-12. This mission trip is a powerful experience for any young person, where they can see God at work in the lives of others and their own. Here’s a sneak peek into our past years’ mission trip:

WHEN: February 21-24, 2020.

WHERE: Pasadena, California. (Pasadena SDA Church, 1280 E Washington Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91104)
WHAT: To impact entire cities by sharing Christ-centered literature with every home in a compassionate & loving way.
HOW: By two days of door-to-door literature distribution in Pasadena and possible surrounding towns.
WHY: These little tracts encourage people to seek after God and deepen their relationship with Him. We often don’t see these life-changing effects immediately, but we know God is working. This mission trip builds faith in the God who works even when we can’t see the results right away. (Ecclesiastes 11:5-6)
LEADERSHIP: Southern California Conference Literature Ministries provides well-trained and experienced leaders for each GLOW Impact Academy Edition mission trip. These leaders have had years of experience in literature ministry, working with young people. Leaders will provide supervision for the entire weekend in conjunction with school sponsors. Each day there will be time for meals, worship and training before we go out GLOWing. (See tentative schedule for further details.)

WHAT TO BRING
- Sleeping bag & mat/air-mattress/cot

- Water bottle

Authorization for Medical Treatment for Minors & Parental Consent FORM must be filled out by all parents / legal guardians. See links at the top and bottom of the page. Transportation to and from mission trip site must be provided by the school, sponsors or individual participants. The adjusted deadline to register is February 14, 2020.
